yep, that's true, although not a serious master piece, all of X-MEN saga films were pretty entertaining and they had a lot of cool action scenes, my favourite being all the scenes with Cyclops, Mystique and that mutant with angel wings, I forgot his name.

@Dezmond - I'll give you that. Personally I enjoy them, because they are well developed action films, but as always with so many characters and big name actors the stories get a little soft. I think the main issue (especially with this film) is a lot of people forget it's a comic book film and forget to just enjoy the ride. So while Last Stand might not be a masterpiece of a story it&

@Dezmond - I think Del Toro works because he has the classic Wolfman look, but he definitely is a rather bland actor. But as I said this type of film really doesn't need "star" actors it just needs decent actors who don't try to hard to approve a mediocre script with overacting and that's usually what happens when you put big names in average popcorn flicks.

Actually Polanski was released by the Swiss, and they refused to extradite him back to LA and therefore have let him go scott free. This was all over the news last week. He may have settled with the girl but he was still convicted in a court of a crime and fled the country. Weird, I just watched this one last night! Polanski is a favorite of mine, his movies are pretty intense, specially his earlier ones. While this one is not one of his best, its still pretty gripping and suspenseful!

If you liked this Polanski film, and are interested in checking out more Polanski films, you should check out Repulsion and The Tenant! Both are extremely gratifying

'Hot Fuzz' is hands down my favorite comedy of all times. When I first saw it, it simply blew me away and I could watch it over and over and over again and it never gets old.

I'm not going to list what I liked in it, because I relished it all, from beginning the very explosive end. Even the deleted scene were awesome, especially the "But, he's the supermarket owner

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this one. On every goddamn "Worst Film" list, there's 'Van Helsing', either on the #1 spot, or very close to it. I'm not the least ashamed to admit, I love this film (and equally as much, if not more, I love 'The Mummy')!

'Conan the Barbarian' is a peculiar title. As a kid, and even a year back, I loved this film. I really did. Arnie, wizards, barbarians, the masterpiece score of Basil Poledouris... I relished it all.
