• RT Revival

I'm taking the next few weeks off, but don't fret I'll still be around and still be posting some classic reviews from my Rotten Tomatoes days. Enjoy!

  • Happy Two Year Anniversary!

Two years ago I wrote a review of a film I didn't like, a film which has turned into the most read review in this site's two year history. Now it's time for the sequel...

  • A Wolfman Revival

The Wolfman hasn't had a successful film since his arrival on the silver screen in the 1940's, so how does the 2010 version stack up?

  • Connery The Cat Bugler

Sean Connery co-stars in another unheard of film, this time as a low level criminal turned big time insurance collector for the mob.

  • Crash & Burn

Penned as the funniest movie of 2005, I simply scratch my head a wonder was there even any other comedies in 2005? There must not have been, because all Wedding Crashers has going for it is the lovely and talented Rachel McAdams.

Born: July 26, 1945 in Belgrave, England
Hammer film(s): The Lost Continent (1968);  Lust For A Vampire (1971)
Other notable roles: Bomb in the High Street (1961); The Pleasure Girls (1965); Boeing Boeing (1966); Paradise, Hawaiian Style (1966)

Born Suzanna Smith, her personal life is probably a little more interesting than her acting career.  Starred in three Hammer projects (only two films) which pretty much rounded out her acting career.  Probably most notable in the United States for her role in Boeing Boeing with Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis, and Paradise, Hawaiian Style with Elvis Presley.  One interesting story, when she walked on the set of Lust For A Vampire and saw there was nudity in the film she attempted to back out but the director told her they were filming the Swedish version and that she wouldn't see it nor would anyone she knew, obviously a lie, but it was enough to keep her on the set.

Hotness Rating: 7/10
I'd rate her lower compared to most of the Hammer women so far but she's still attractive she look a little like Elizabeth Montgomery from Bewitched.

Acting Rating: 6/10

Suzanna's role in Lust For A Vampire is rather brief, not a whole lot to base an opinon on.

Average Hammer Film Rating: 7/10
Most would disagree with me
on my rating for Lust For A Vampire, frankly even I'm a little confused as to why I enjoyed it so much, call it a guilty pleasure I guess..

Overall Rating
6.7
