Last Updated - 12/7/09

Born: November 12, 1945 in London, England

Other notable roles: multiple "Carry On" films, The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Never Say Never Again (1983)

Valerie Leon is probably not very well known to most outside the United Kingdom.  She became a popular fixture on British television with her racy commercials for Hai Karate aftershave.  She became a reoccurring face in the Carry On British motion picture comedies, appearing in a total of seven.  Most recognizable to American audiences in her small roles in two James Bond films, and really gained cult status for her role in Hammer's Blood From The Mummy's Tomb, a film she still receives fan mail for to this day.

Hotness Rating: 9/10
Valerie Leon's beauty and talent is what makes her lone Hammer film truly worth watching, frankly put her presence in the film is mesmerizing.

Acting Rating: 8/10
I was actually quite impressed with Valerie's talent, I assumed she's just be another pretty Hammer face, but her physical performance, and facial expression truly convey the almost a sexy evil that really made her character interesting and fun to watch.

Average Hammer Film Rating: 7/10
Like most Hammer films Blood From The Mummy's Tomb has it's issues but the story is good enough the production value is high enough and Valerie Leon makes it worth seeing for sure.

Overall Rating
8.0
